The reason it is so hard to lose abdominal fat, get a flat tummy and good abs is that everything you have been told is wrong

Both men and women struggle with this, and the reason why is that there is so much misinformation about what foods to eat and what exercise to do.  Some of this misinformation has the exact opposite effect to the one you want.

First off, crash diets don’t work.  They never have and they never will.  Sure, they will take the weight off, but maintaining the weight loss is quite another matter when you come off the diet.  The normal reaction is to gain the weight back — and more.  One thing about these diets that people don’t realize is that they cause muscle loss more than fat loss.  The reason is that the body goes into “starvation mode” and in the interests of self-preservation loses muscle so that you have a store of fat to sustain you through the famine.  This is really unhealthy.  Don’t do it.
